We know you’ve been looking forward to hearing about the Workshops that you can be involved with at this year’s Apron Festival – and now we can tell you all about them!!  Local textile creator and designer, Catherine Thomas, will hold four sessions over the two-day festival, providing basic beginner embroidery classes for you to make and take your own embroidered apron.

Bookings are absolutely essential to secure your place, so check out our Ballarat Apron Festival Workshops page for more information, or download the Information Flyer here!

Welcome to 2017 and the year of another Ballarat Apron Festival! Rest assured that while things may look quiet and calm, behind the scenes the BAF Committee is hard at work to bring you a very exciting Festival celebrating all things Apron!!

Be sure to stay connected to all our news by subscribing to our website (just scroll on down to the bottom of the screen), and also via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter – this year’s theme may be “A Day in the Life of an Apron in the 1950s”, but we are well and truly keeping you up to date across the social media board!

In case you missed it, we recently put a call out seeking expressions of interest from stallholders for the Makers Market at this year’s Festival, and also a reminder that we are always welcoming new Members to the Ballarat Apron Festival Association – you can get your membership form here!
